Edmond North High School was formed in 1993, and the Lady Huskies
enjoyed almost immediate success, as they were the Area Consolation Champions
in their 2nd season, the
'94-'95 season.  They went on to  win Regional
Championships in the next two seasons and the Area Championship in

advancing to the State semifinals that season.
However, since the Regional Championship team of the
'96-'97 season, the
Lady Huskies suffered through a playoff drought and failed to win a playoff
game until
Coach Kevin Korstjens' 2nd season, the 2007-08 season, when the
Lady Huskies advanced in the playoffs with an upset of Jenks in the opening
round of Regionals and a satisfying win against
Edmond Memorial in the
consolation bracket of Area.  The
Lady Huskies ended that playoff season with a
loss to
Claremore in Area Consolation Finals.
Success in the playoffs continued with a banner
2008-09 season resulting in
a run to the
State quarterfinal round and final season record of 23-3.
